Welcome to our overnight tour to Sydney featuring the Ramses & The Gold of the Pharaohs exhibition. Transport yourself back 3,300 years, across the sands of the Sahara Desert where you reach the heartbeat of Ancient Egypt ruled by the most celebrated pharaoh in the country’s storied history. The all-new multisensory museum experience
provides visitors with a window into the life and accomplishments of Ramses II
, more commonly known as Ramses the Great, who ruled Egypt for 67 years – the
second longest reign for any pharaoh. Exclusive to Sydney, the exhibition features 181 priceless artefacts including Egyptian treasures, and one-of-a-kind relics, many of which have never left Egypt before. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and will give you an up-close look into the life, achievements, and stunning monuments of Ramses the Great. As the sun sets over Sydney Harbour, we are welcomed aboard our Captain Cook Cruise for a special sunset dinner cruise. Enjoy the iconic Sydney sights of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and the natural beauty of the harbour making it the perfect way to end a fantastic day in Sydney.

The following day we have a leisurely morning before a visit to Newington Armory. On our guided walking tour, we travel back in time to when Newington Armory was the major naval depot on the east coast of Australia. Hear stories from another era relating to workers at the Armory and tour iconic buildings from the 1897 period, including the old Gunpowder Magazine with lamplight tunnels and museum displays from days of the Armory. After time to purchase lunch, we board the coach and head home from a fantastic overnight tour to Sydney.
