Canberra Floriade Nightfest & Tulip Top Gardens - 3rd & 4th October 2024 - 2 Days / 1 Night

Welcome to our 2 day Canberra
Floriade tour. We meet our friendly crew and fellow travellers and begin
our journey to Australia’s Capital, Canberra. On arrival we are off to Commonwealth
Park for the amazing Floriade Festival. The flower display is the
largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Explore the impressive array of
inspiring flowerbeds, horticultural exhibitions and unmissable entertainment.
At a designated time, we check into our hotel and freshen up before dinner.
When the sun goes down, we head back to Floriade to dabble in the dark side
when Nighfest comes to life. Experience a special night as Nightfest is
illuminated, lighting up the night. Featuring live music, interactive displays
and activities, we have time at leisure to explore all the after dark magic.

The next morning we head to Capital Hill, the focal point
of Canberra where we are introduced to the meeting place of the nation, Parliament
House. Listening to your guide as they lead you through this political
powerhouse, you are enlightened to daily life of democracy. Before departing
Canberra, we make our way up to Mt Ainslie Lookout for some breathtaking
views. We then make our way to Tulip Top Gardens, where acres of
stunning world class gardens bloom, to life. Hundreds of blossom trees nestle
between the flowers and provide a magic pathway to the cascading waterfall and
watercourse with classical music wafting through the air in the hidden valley.
We enjoy lunch here before continuing home from a fantastic tour
